PT Freeport Indonesia atau biasa disingkat sebagai PTFI merupakan perusahaan tambang mineral afiliasi dari Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) dan Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID). Sejak akhir tahun 2018, PTFI merupakan bagian dari Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) melalui PT Inalum (Persero) setelah diakuisisi sahamnya sebesar 51%, sehingga dinyatakan pula sebagai bagian dari BUMN. MIND ID sendiri merupakan Holding Industri Pertambangan Indonesia, dengan PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) (Inalum), PT ANTAM Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, dan PT Freeport Indonesia sebagai anggota holding.
PTFI menambang dan memproses bijih menghasilkan konsentrat yang mengandung tembaga, emas dan perak. PTFI memasarkan konsentrat ke seluruh penjuru dunia dan terutama ke smelter tembaga dalam negeri, PT Smelting.
Tambang di kawasan mineral Grasberg, Papua – Indonesia merupakan salah satu deposit tembaga dan emas terbesar di dunia. PTFI saat ini menambang pada fase akhir tambang terbuka Grasberg. Selain itu, PTFI tengah mengerjakan beberapa proyek pada kawasan mineral Grasberg sehubungan dengan pengembangan beberapa tambang bawah tanah berkadar tinggi yang berskala besar dan berumur panjang. Secara total, semua tambang bawah tanah ini diharapkan menghasilkan tembaga dan emas skala besar sehubungan dengan peralihan dari tambang terbuka Grasberg.
Saat ini PT Freeport Indonesia sedang membuka program rekrutmen untuk kebutuhan persiapan smelter Manyar. Berikut adalah daftar posisi dan kualifikasi yang dibutuhkan:
Smelter Operation Readiness – Superintendent Emergency Service
Assisting Health & Safety (HS) Manager to develop, implement and evaluate Emergency Response management Plan in Manyar Smelter (MS) & Manyar Maju Refinery (MMR) Plants and coordinate to related stakeholders regarding to Emergency managements based on PTFI/FCX HS Policy & Standards and Statutory Government Regulation.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a Health & Safety or other related discipline
10+ years experience for bachelors degree or 7+ year of experience for masters degree in health & Safety or related experience in mining, mineral/metal processing especially in emergency service position.
Have a valid Middle Operational Supervisor (POM) – BNSP certification.
Have a valid Occupational Health & Safety Expert (AK3U) – BNSP or DISNAKER certification
Have a valid ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Certified is desirable
Have a Class A or B Fire Expert – BNSP or DISNAKER certification
Have a Working at Height Expert BNSP certification
Have a Confined Space Expert BNSP certification
Have a Mining Safety Management System (SMKP) Auditor – MINERBA Registered is desirable
Have a Train of Trainer Level 3 or 4 – BNSP or DISNAKER certification
Have a Competency Assessor – BNSP certification
Have a First Aider level 3 (advance life Support) certification
BASARNAS Training or other international equivalent search & rescue certification
Have a good networking and participation with Emergency Response stakeholders in Indonesia or International, i.e.: Government, BASARNAS, DAMKAR, Vendors, Emergency Response community, Indonesian or international Fire & Rescue Association, etc.
Have experience in developing and managing Emergency Service of the following field are desirable:
Gas Cleaning Circuit (Electrostatic Precipitators, scrubbers, etc.)
Effluent Treatment
Sulfuric Acid Plant
SAG mill, Ball mill, Flotation
Solid/Liquid Separation
Mining (Washing Plant)
Have a strong understanding regarding health & safety and emergency service regulation and standard based on Indonesian Statutory Regulation and International standards (NFPA, ISO, SNI, OSHA, etc.)
Have a good public speaking capability.
Good English-speaking skills orally and written at an advanced level.
Have a strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Willingness to work in team environment with culturally diversified workforces.
Additional desirable technical skills:
Experienced in risk-based analysis (HAZOP, FMEA, RCAP, Bowtie Analysis, etc.)
Working knowledge of MS Office suites, SAP, EMS, and other business systems.

Smelter Operation Readiness – Superintendent Health & Safety Operation
Assisting Health & Safety (HS) Manager to oversee the implementation of Health & Safety field operation in daily basis based on PTFI/FCX HS Policy & Standards and Stutory Government Regulation in Manyar Smelter (MS) & Manyar Maju Refinery (MMR). This position also responsible to develop, implement and evaluate industrial hygiene management according to 4 principle (anticipate, recognize, evaluate & control) and Occupational Heath management according to 4 pillars (preventive, promotive, curative & rehabilitative) based on PTFI/FCX Policy & Standards and Statutory Government Regulation in order to prevent work related disorder and improve employee wellness in Manyar Smelter (MS) & Manyar Maju Refinery (MMR).
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a Health & Safety or other related discilpine
10+ years experience for Bachelor degree or 7+ year of experience for Master degree in Health & Safety or related experience in mining, mineral/metal processing especially in Safety operation and Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene.

Smelter Operation Readiness – Superintendent Health & Safety System & Compliance
The Superintendent Systems Management will be responsible for managing a team of systems administrators overseeing the installation, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of servers, storage, backups, and disaster recovery environment, to ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operation of the compute environment, as well as to maintain the security and integrity of the data stored within.
This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that the team is able to maintain and troubleshoot the business and process control compute environments, monitor the performance, and respond to technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
This supervisory position is to ensure that the server infrastructure is secure, stable, operates effectively and efficiently, with minimal downtime and disruptions, so that the organization can rely on it to process, store and manage its critical data.
